Workshop Reviews

If you want to learn a lot and be inspired, I highly recommend Akira’s workshop!  I took the virtual workshop for financial reasons.

His studio is well organized with appropriate camera settings so when viewing a demonstration, it can be seen from above etc . Talk about organization,  each day was devoted to a different technique but there was follow up on the previous days work too.

Although I have many years of experience with clay, he uses clay in a way that never occurred to me. Very exciting!

I was most impressed by his giving nature, his attitude towards life and his inspirations !  He shares his inspirations , his knowledge from small details(like how to move a slab without touching it) to his thought  process! TAKE THE WORKSHOPS!

Your workshop was just brilliant in both content and execution. You were so very generous in sharing your techniques, patient in answering questions, and most interesting when discussing your philosophy. I learned a lot and am enjoying a revitalized approach to my own work. Thank you, definitely worth getting up at 4:30 in the morning for.

Such a good and inspiring workshop, - can't imagine a workshop done better. So generous in the sharing of Mr. Satake's methods and techniques. And to me, - the best part was to hear Mr. Satake tell about his personal approach to the work with clay, and his aesthetic considerations.
Also all the technical aspects of the virtual presentation worked perfectly.
Thank you much much for this wonderful, inspiring and positive experience.
